| The Roots of Numerology I want to learn more about numerology and the roots in which it came from. Numerology is interesting to me and I want to start learning about it's history. What are numerologists and how did they become what the are? Can anyone help? |
| Well, this is what Wikipedia has to say: Numerology is any of many systems, traditions or beliefs in a mystical or esoteric relationship between numbers and physical objects or living things. Numerology and numerological divination were popular among early mathematicians, such as Pythagoras, but are no longer considered part of mathematics and are regarded as pseudomathematics by most modern scientists. This is similar to the historical development of astronomy out of astrology, and chemistry from alchemy.
