| Spiritual Mediums are not a thing to be taken for granted. Someone seeking such items is supposedly dealing with the paranormal. Definitely not something one should be playing with. It's a very serious thing. |
| Spiritual mediums? Meaning they have some sort of "contact" with the dead? Do we believe the dead are in a situation where they can "communicate" with us? That means they are sitting some place, a beautiful pond maybe, with beautiful birds flying around and the sound of a stream with gold fish swimming in it. They seem the same as they did when alive, only younger and happy, no stress or worries. Some traditions say that at first when dead people pass away they donīt know that they are dead. They run around trying to talk to people (remember the movie "6th. Sense"?) and then realize that nobody hears them, nobody sees them. Then they realize that they are dead and get horrified and freak out. Then, according to the Tibetan Book of the Dead, or "Bardo", they spend 49 days in that state until at last they hide in a dark place and are re-born, maybe as humans, but possibly as dogs or cats ot whatever. Other say that they are not reborn but live in ecstasy forever. Then a "medium" comes along and does a ritual, burns some incense and lights a candle and starts to "talk" to them. Of course we need to leave an offering on the table, otherwise my dear old grandmother will not talk to me! Ok? Letīs buy that... Ciao. |
| I think Spiritual mediums as the name suggest are people that serves as a tool, a passageway or a bridge that connects us (living) to the dead people that we need to communicate with. So they only are some kind of instrument to let us talk with the dead, the concept is they call on the spirit and make a connection. I myself do not believe in this kind of stuffs, just sharing my thought.. |
