Well, the power of clairvoyants are truly astonishing. Why am I able to say this? Because before leaving my country Syria, I consulted a clairvoyant and directed me here to Cyprus. She said I will have good faith in this country if I establish a business, after heeding her I immediately pack my belongings and headed towards Cyprus. Look at me now, I am happy and earning good with my beautiful Cypriot wife.

You know what is astonishing? It is when people thank and thinks that they own a safe journey, prosper life, or a good luck to clairvoyants when the reason for it is just "them" and how they handle their lives. What if you ask a clairvoyant on how will your first job go, and then the clairvoyant tells you you'll be successful in your first job, so being a believer of such fads you took it easy and laid back on work which later resulted on you being fired and that's your first job... so what's successful about it?

You are the master of your own faith... You make your luck... don't believe in such fakes.

Yeah, Barbra is right, people shouldn't do big decisions based on what these clairvoyants will say. But if your bored and you want something different try talking to a psychic, clairvoyants etc. not for a serious just talk to them and hear what they have to say, it's more entertaining than Oprah. These experts for me belongs to the entertainment sector of society that's why we often see them in carnivals, parks, etc.

Really am not a believer of such prediction mumbo jumbos. f they can really see onto the future then why are still in the same slums as where they are originally. They can give you that "They can't see their own future" stupidity but I say they can't even see yours. What important is you believe in your own capabilities and strive hard to reach for your goals in life. I don't have to be a clairvoyant to say you will become successful if you did so.

This is something quite funny, people actually looking for clairvoyants just to ask them if the place they are going to visit will be a safe one or not. I don't want to be called an arrogant here so I will just keep it simple. Try reading online news about the country that you are about to visit and if it is as twisted as Cuba or North Korea, then by all means don't go.

I also join the ranks of them that believe in individual drive and self belief and not on some unfounded premonition of someone I do not even know. It would be wise for you to either run an online search of whether or not your business will actually flourish in Cyprus. Such a move of depending on a Clairvoyant would have disastrous result if you made a rash decision

It seems like there are more non-believers of psychics and paranormal here than pro-psychics. Well this is not very impossible in this fact-driven world where science has explanation to almost everything. If you'll ask me. I would like to keep it simple, there are also things in this world that science can't explain and that is enough for me to have a small belief in such clairvoyants and psychics but to an extent only.

Very true Hughes. My question is, who do the clairvoyants turn to when in dilemma..themselves perhaps? Indeed there seem to be more op-psychics in here. Perhaps very soon we will see someone who has had session with some of these guys.

I had a look at a certain website which I found really intriguing. You guys could check it out sara-freder.com. Perhaps it will change your view of the whole concept

There are indeed many things in this world that science could not explain but this does not necessarily means that one will devote all his time and belief to such paranormal or metaphysics. At the end of the day it still depends on a man on how he will make something out of his life. If someone reasoned out that there is nothing lost in believing such clairvoyance well I can say to you that there is, your time or others time. Instead of blabbering about what your futre might be why don't you make it now?

In our human understanding of the world a lot doesn't make sense. Sometimes I feel like I did when learning algebra for the first time. At first, the very idea of letters adding up or multiplying to give an answer to a problem was mind-boggling. Very often it seems like someone or something somewhere keeps us from understanding the paradigm within which everything in the world fits together. It's like even our basic assumptions about the world around us are premised on a wrong thinking base.

For example, given our human understanding and experience of time, size and space, what was there before the Earth was created or how big is the universe and what lies outside of it?

And indeed what made the universe exist in the first place? These are questions that science can never answer for very often science requires that something exist in time and space (matter/energy), before anything else can come about.

It is in searching for the answers to these questions that man subconsciously, even if never openly, admits and submits to a the awareness of a greater power or entity. Clairvoyance, witchcraft, religion... all that comes from this understanding combined with individual, cultural, ethnic and/or regional circumstances/ influences.

As far as I know clairvoyants are fakes out to make a quick buck. They put a turban on, with or without a cristal ball, and put on a good show. Notice that they always give you good news, things will turn out dandy. You will meet the man/woman of your dreams and make a million bucks. Believe if you want or save your money.

Well if people believe in this kind of practice it is their problem... I think those kind of revelations that people hear when they are faced with Clairvoyants are just there to serve as some kind of warning to us..just a guiding star for some.. it is still up to us on what we decide and do..

Try this, Mr. Naysayer...

For 1 month, take 30 minutes everyday and just sit quietly. No radio. No TV. No Telephone. No email, no instant messages. No interruptions. No sleeping.

Just spend time with you and your mind. See if at the end of the month you start to simply know things that are important for your life.

Meditation is so important to our everyday lives that if we start to do it at least once a day for a few minutes, we will begin to see the self, inside of us and not just the person in the mirror. We'll start to see the spirit and not worry as much about the body.

Indeed, it is a really unpredictable setting here on earth. It makes me wonder how the said clairvoyants base their predictions on. What would happen if they told you things were not going to be smooth wherever you thought of going. Would you cancel everything you had in mind?

Apparently, science does not hold an explanation to everything that happens around but a fusion of a better understanding of oneself and events happening within us will be of real help. Clairvoyants and their ilk are fakes.

I think the major thing here is that treading your life over chance makes you avoid challenges that would otherwise shape your life and make you a better person as a whole.

Take for example finding a first then losing it in the course of time. That does not mean it is your end; it signifies you have to work harder. That is against the premonition that all would not go well leading you to withdrawing form taking otherwise better steps.

Life is shrouded in mystery but that is not enough justification to just believing anything.

What sort of things does a clairvoyant see?

A clairvoyant sees what is relevant to the person that is sitting in front of them. They can see anything from clear pictures of, for example, if somebody was going to meet a love interest, the clairvoyant may see what that person looks like. It may be shown to them in a symbolic way so maybe they will see a beach and a person walking on the beach. Or maybe the psychic will hear waves, which will give them an idea that there is water involved. They may see a picture of a house, which would indicate that perhaps the clients are going to be moving to a new home. It's very, very different and very varied as to how it comes through, but it can be crystal clear as a picture or it can be done as symbols as well.

Anything in these Earth is shrouded in complete mystery even if Science may explain most of it. There are still those that baffles the Scientific community. This is why people resolve to believing on false hopes, religion, alternative beliefs and this is helping them out give explanations to their worries, their questions of existence. That is why even knowing and people saying clairvoyants are fakes, there will always be people believing in them.

It has all to do with what you set your heart to believing in. In other people's words, it is a 'free world' where you get to choose the path you wish to follow. It does not matter how much criticism such a move would attract; what matters is whether you have set your eyes on it.

Nonetheless, whatever sorts of beliefs and practices these may be, they need to have a trace f relevance to day-to-day living.

Yeah i must admit that it is truly a free world, and living in a free world with free choices i think would not necessarily mean that you excused into believing the wrong ones.

I am not referring to anyone here in this forum, you see, we are really prone to believing in such things for we are only humans, we can be infiltrated easily if attacked on the weak spot, but we must bear in mind that we only have one superior one.. And that serves to be our guiding light on to what we believe.

Clairvoyance is a mystery and a questionable ability itself. It could either mean that it is a fact or a fiction. If you'll consider this as fiction then you shouldn't also believe religion, for there is no scientific and hard evidence for its existence, so does God. I am not saying that you shouldn't believe every word that the new and old world has imposed, but rather contemplate and reflect only on "what is" and not "what is going to be".
