| Can you train to be a psychic?I love the subject of psychics! This mystery of why some people can "see" things the rest donīt see!I explain it by thinking that we "see" with our minds. In other words, our eyes are just gadgets that appeared over evolution, but we "really" see with our minds. Only, most people have lost that ability and now only see whatīs right there before them, physically. So psychics are the only ones who really see and perceive what the rest are missing. Does this sound right? I need an expert to tell me if I am wrong. Anyway, the original question was, can we learn to be a psychic or are we born that way? Best regards, Love |

Some people complain that psychics give the wrong "advice". Of course when two people look at exactly the same thing, they may see the scene differently.Why should it be any differently when seeing with your mind? |
| Hi there! Well, I think that you can't be trained to be a psychic. I believe that knowledge on this matter can be learned, though. But being a psychic is a gift given to an individual. You just can't simply pretend that yu are seeing something even if it's not true. Anyway, no two persons are alike. We perceive things differently so it's just natural for psychics to see things on a different matter. Thank you so much and have a great day! |
| I have nothing against those who believes in psychic and psychic abilities but one thing is for sure, it is us who knows what we want and it is us who knows how we can deal with things in life. We can consult psychic yes, but let us not forget that we have the power to do the things that we want to happen, let us not be blinded with stuffs that we do not know if true. |
| I really don't know if one can learn to be psychic but there sure are plenty of fake ones. So, my opinion is we have to use wisdom - godly wisdom - and sometimes just plain common sense in every decision that we have to make. We cannot just depend our decisions on some future prediction that somebody tells us, though we can use it to be careful if need be. |

Wisdom is when you use the power of your own mind to develop the best life you can for yourself.Psychics are people who exploit they own "wisdom" for the "benefit" of others. The problem is many claim to be psychics who haven't yet developed their own wisdom to a sufficient level to help themselves, much less anyone else. Quiet your mind regularly (go out in nature if you can) and soon you'll find that nuggets of wisdom will regularly pop into your consciousness. |

there's is no formal training to be a psychic. but there are some ways to assist a person in getting in touch with her inner self, or connecting with the unconscious and the spiritual realm. but the more efficient psychics usually have early manifestations of the gift early in their lives, they don't even have to train for it... |

Well the truth is, everyone is naturally born with an innate psychic side. Yes, we all have inborn psychic abilities. However, it's just that we don't realize we're psychic because the degree of psychic gifts vary per person (some have really strong psychic abilities, and they're very noticeable).Have you had experiences wherein you just know things without any logical explanation at all? Like you know something's going to happen, and then it just happens? Or like you get a a feeling of de ja vu very often? Well these things do seem simple, but these are signs of our inner psychic abilities at work :) Yes, there isn't any formal schooling on how to be a psychic. But there are ways that you can learn how to unlock your true psychic potential; all it takes is to first know where and how to start the whole process :) |

This sounds so much like those instances when you have a gut feeling about something. It may start off as a hunch but then it turns out to be true. I hope there are easy ways to improve this heightened sense of awareness in seemingly normal people... |

Hi Mary Breaux, You can develop your psychic side, and there are many exercises for this. Everyone's capable to develop this "sense of heightened awareness"... you can start your journey towards psychic awareness by meditating on a daily basis... |
